Sure, but these aren't Lavon fish. These are Ray Hubbard fish coming up to the dam.

Lavon has stripers IN THE LAKE. A few years ago, not sure about now. I caught them at the power plant, by the big discharge, on crank baits. Biggest one I caught was 8 lbs.my buddy caught 2 one 10 and one 12 lbs. They used to be IN THE LAKE.

Yeah, but just like denison. I'm sure some slips through the floodgates?? Difference in the dams though. The way Denison opens at full release, it's a big column of water that lots of stuff is going to get through. Lavon has shallow flows out of 12 gates, so nothing big is going to get through.

Thanks for the clarification. I personally would not be TOO surprised if someone pulled up a striper out at lavon dam.

just FYI, the only times they stocked Lake Lavon with stripers were in '89 and '94. Whatever stripers are remaining are from recent spawns.

Alrighty folks looks like quite a few gates are down. Now alot of fish will move up towards the dam with the lack of current so we should be able to see lots of people put more fish on stringers, not only Ogs lol But people will be having more luck.

Good job. Wish I was fishing. One more day of work, and I'll be off for almost a week.
