I'm actually headed to Thailand next year and want to hit up some of the inland freshwater fishing that I have seen. Any suggestions?
PB Common Carp....... 38 lbs
PB Mirror Carp........12 lbs 8 oz
PB SM Buffalo........ 53 lbs
PB Grasser........... 48 lbs 4 oz
PB Blue cat.......... 17 lbs (caught on maize)

Take a look at this guys posts from Thailand. He is a guide there. BKKGUY. You will have to do a search for his posts going back 4 months. Plus #1 Never fished with him but heard he is one GREAT Guide!  Side Note: Always love reading his post!

just ask the taxi driver they will take you to those place that guy fishes from they have a lot of ponds and lake that are protected cath and release only they have hug maung catfish in most of the ponds they go about 20-60lbs if not bigger you can rent every thing right there bat rods reals bread crumbs for the cats and bread rolls the local guys fish will be happy to help you out just order some beer and sare it our house in Korat there are a few of these places not far or you can pay out the [censored] for a guid to take you to all the national parks and restores to fish you can catch flat head in rice fields with frogs and top water bats green zoom lizards well in the fields the thing about thia people they will wipe a place out they eat every thing from any size my wife is thia and i have lived there of an on we are moving there permanently in 2 years the own 2 houses and having a 3rd one built this summer he had a lot of land give to use as wedding gifts in all it was bout 12 actors some in the city of karat the rest was up in the mountesn
But just ask even the hookers if that is your thing will be able to get you were go to they are lost the best guides to hire a lot of stuff in thaiand is on the bater system they like to bagel and there are 2 prices your price that you see and the thai price that gets lower i you like something walk past it then send a thai over to get what you want i have my kids and wife do this for me and we have been married 13-14yr we go back every year to visit when you go send me a pm if i am there i will be there all summer i can help you out to get to some spots to fish you cant keep anything but you can catch it
