Would this be a good Deep cranking rod? Like the 6XDs.

Yes, also depending on crank bait you may also want to look at the 806cb.

I throw a 6,8 and 10xd on the 805CBRM It really loads up well and launches them.

I loved the rod but the handle is too short in my opinion, that is why I gt away from Dobyn's cranking rods.
I wish they would make a long handled deep cranking rod...

Ditto to the above references for the Dobyns 805 CB RM. Great rod for DD22s, 6XD and does REAL well with the 8 and 10 XD lures as well. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Add that the 805 is a great Alabama Rig rod as well.
