Paid about $35-$40 for a Lunker Punker. I was the one who got punked. That is a good bait if you got the wooden one.

Same here. I fish with a 14 y/o. Somehow I have not been successful at retrieving any of the lures my teen managed to loose.

I bet I have caught more fish on a plain Jane bone knock off 1.5dd silent than any other moving bait I own. I would be willing to bet I have boated over 1000 fish on that one bait. It just works in almost all conditions and water colors. I imagine I have changed hooks on it 10-12 times, not sure what I would do if I lost it. My best top water is a tiny torpedo with all the paint gone. And its about 20 years old. No way I'll spend over $7 for any lure. And lets not talk about $8.40 for a bag of plastics.

$15-20 is about my limit on just about any lure. ALl I can ever think about when im buying a more expensive bait is how much it is gonna hurt when I lose it... lol

About $15-$20 for a bait I plan on using. I have spent well over that for old ones I've bought for display.
