It's open, we just left. Based on what we saw you may wanna give it a few days. ^^^^^ this. Brutal today. Anyone go to welsh and have any luck today? I didn't do so well. Before today I was gaining some confidence on welsh since it's a new lake for me. I'm hoping it was tough for everyone.

Fished early till 1130, 1 fish on horny toad 2 ft and 1 on Texas rig, lizard 14 ft. Never saw another fish boated. Look forward to see how others did.

Fished about half a day today. First time I've ever been on it. Figured I'd go learn it since I had some time so I can start running a few trips out of there since pines is flooded all over the world right now.
Did good, caught fish everywhere we tried up to about 3lbs or so. Some seem to be scattered and others in small pods.

Headed out tomorrow. If my pattern holds I should be able to catch 4-6 keepers and 10 or so unders. We'll see, I haven't been out since last Sat. We won the open tourney with 20.3# and only culled once.

The last one of the open weekly tourneys was last Saturday.
I wouldn't doubt a club tourney but I don't know that for sure.

Fished this afternoon. Took a while to get the first one, but it was a nice keeper on a trap. Got a couple of unders at the discharge, but it was SLOW for me!
