Learn to tie! Its so much more rewarding to catch fish when you tie the fly yourself!
John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

Check out Bruce Sublett's flies: http://www.goflies.com/Here is Bruce's bio on MyFlies: Gulf and Ozark Flies is a one-man show. I'm Bruce Sublett: CEO, CFO, labor force, shipping department, and field tester. I'm a retired community college English instructor from Lufkin, Texas, with a jones for fishing. When my colleagues expressed concern that I might not have anything to do when I retired, my answer was "Obviously, you don't fish." My real interest is saltwater flies, particularly for the Gulf Coast. I have a place, battered but still functional after Hurricane Ike, on East Bay, part of the Galveston Bay system on the upper Texas coast, and spend as much time as I can there hunting specks, reds, and flounder. At first, I offered trout flies for Ozark and Ouachita tailwaters like the Little Red, and the Lower Mountain Fork, so that's why "Ozark" is in the name, but I can't compete in the trout fly market against all the low-priced imports. On the other hand, I've added a line of bass and panfish flies proven in the great bass lakes of East Texas. I don't intend to be an internet billionaire; if I turn enough flies here to buy gas for the boat, I'll be happy. My business philosophy is simple: sell a quality product at reasonable prices, and work hard to provide the best possible service. Thats one of the reasons Ive teamed up with MyFlies. I'm a supporter of CCA, Trout Unlimited, and the Federation of Fly Fishers. You can meet me in person at several events during the year, including the Dr. Ed Rizzolo Fly Tying Expo in Houston, Fly Fish Texas, and the FFF Gulf Coast Council Expo. Look for me also at the Contraband Fly Casters event in Lake Charles, the Caddo Conclave, and the Southern Council FFF Conclave in Mountain Home. Check out my schedule on the Presenters page here on MyFlies and if youre in the area, stop by and say hi! http://www.myflies.com/Bio-Bruce-Sublett.aspx

Chefmike on this forum is in Central Texas and is an outstanding tier. I like to support TFFers and use Mike or Matt Bennett for all my flies. Lindy
Some people go to church and think about fishing. Some go fishing and think about God.
