 Fluorocarbon memory

I put 15# Seagur red label on my reels about a month ago. Everyone says that fluoro gets a lot of memory but I haven't noticed it yet. I fish about every weekend and haven't put any kind of conditioner on the line. So I'm wondering... Is the line just that good or does it take longer for memory to develop for all fluoro? Should I be using line conditioner? Also I am new to using fluorocarbon line so it would really help if y'all could tell me some general info and tips that I should know.

I have also used it as a leader for a football jig and with a heavy hook set on a few fish it held up great.

Needs to be on the reel longer without use. Don't think line memory leads to breakoffs either, just poorer casting.

It will when it's cold. Don't think it matters how often you use it. I just stretch mine out at ramp

I love Fluoro for all but a few applications...topwater, A-Rig, froggin' and Seaguar is a great line IMO. I use Seaguar Invizx 12# & 15# on most of my reels and it will get some memory depending on the length between trips. I walk down the alley about 75 yards and tie it to the neighbors picket fence, free spool it out, engage my reel then stretch it pretty good a couple of times. Usually set my drag while I'm doing this too since I back it off between trips. Takes the memory out and lets me know if there is a bad spot too...POP. I reel it back up with some tension and put KVD line conditioner on it. Good to go the next day and lasts quite a while doing it this way.

Do this and you won't have any problems. Now me personally, I like Invizx better than Red Label.
