Wife and I ate at Verf's in Highland Village this evening for our anniversary. I had Fish and Chips she ordered the Kobe burger which is $16. She gave me a bite and I was  wishing I ordered the burger it was really good. I like that place but kind of pricey to eat there too often.

one of my favorite burgers in san antonio is the double bacon cheeseburger at Longhorn Cafe. you can get it, fries, a drink for about the same price of a whataburger #5 and it is 100 times better. i love that place.

there is one out leon spring, new braunfels, the original is on blanco on the northside, another good one is by fort sam, and those are the only one's i've tried. i think there might be one or two more around town. we would eat at the Blanco location before every football game back in high school.

Paradise liquors/market in Argyle at 35w and 407 is a great burger. Just roll into the gas station and order up. Outstanding. The fries weren't worth a darn last time I went but the burgers were outstanding. Throw some bacon and jalapenos on it.
