I ordered a new motor that came with an "adapter" but I'm not sure where or how it installs.

This motor replaces a the hollow hex shaft motor.

I watched you tube videos and seems like easy process but decided to punt and drop it off for fear of my inabilities.  . Check out you tube. One of the videos I watch showed cutting the new harness and installing stock connector. That's why I punted. Sorry can't be more help.

Okay thanks, I've got pulled apart but the new motor is just different from the original. So, just not to sure how/if it installs

if I remember right the older ones used an allen key with a fork on the end. the new one is allen key the whole way. you can use the new motor with the old pump
