Woodworker, used to get Bass master, but to many ads instead of articles. Bass Times also.

Mags are overpriced and overrated in my opinion. A dying breed like newspapers. More info from forums and other media other than paying for an advertisement filled magazine. Had subscriptions to em all a few years back then the internet came out and I found more info from the web than I did the mags. You asked for opinions... What he said!

I get In-Fisherman and TX F&G subs on my tablet. I get Gulf Coast Fisherman in the mail. It's only a 4 magazines a year, but it's pretty good. I tend to like the stuff In-Fisherman does. More content and less ads than the other big mags and they mix it up quite a bit. In stead of old re-treads, they tend to do a nice mix of different twists on the tried and true and in-depth looks at the new hot trends. Even if it's Northern fish on Northern waters, it's still somewhat interesting especially since the thaw won't happen here in CO till late March at the earliest.
Still have a ton of Bassmaster, Bassin', In-Fisherman, TPWD mag, TX F&G and Texas Outdoor Journal in boxes. Its nice to have the ones on the tablet and not taking up space on the shelf.
