first time going down , can anyone tell me about ramp steep, slick, ? done messed up traded in 4wd for 2wd and now have problems on pulling out on some ramps (alan henry). have older 4wd I take there now but would like to pull that distance with new truck. any help or advice appreciated.

My truck is 2wd and have no problem going up the ramp.

No problems with my 2wd and that was when the lake was waaaaay down!

Lake is up, very good! Far right seems to be the most level for loading, left pulling down the ramp!

Just got back. 3 boats 2 people to a boat.
Fishing is rough. Lots of numbers. No size. I think we had a 7 and a 5 out of about 150 fish
But then again, it's falcon. Can all change overnight. Good luck

Not at all like Alan Henry more like the little ramp at Bufflo Lake on the fast end.. You can pull out easy it's nothing. After you have been to AH the other ramps are a joke. You will not need 4wd. At the state park or in town. Both ramps are short too not like AH. Watch the wind and don't get trapped a long way from the ramp. Don't go to Mexico w/o a lic.. If you get caught over there w/o a lic. your [censored] and boat are gone. My buddy caught a 4lb spot at AH yesterday.

The ramp is fine and the fishing should be heating up we went last week had a lot of numbers no size and we rented a house by the ramp and thats the way to go if you have a group of guys going!
