My question to you guys is. Is spider-rig trolling seasonal? I am very new at it and investing in it with the intention of doing it year around. I see some troll only in the early spring when the crappie is easy to find. I intend to troll year around in order to find the crappie and then jig for them. Is this wishful thinking?
Thanks
westsam

No, trolling is productive all year long.

Jigpole,
I've read that it's an extremely productive way to put dinner on the table all year. The plan is to do a lot of it as soon as the wifey gets feeling better.
Jerry,
You gotta see what I did with one of my boat seat pedistals and a three rod bee-ready. Know anyone who has a used three or four banger bee-ready they want to sell?

He leadeth me beside still waters.
