I subscribed to BAM at the Mesquite show for two years and never received one issue. They gave me a back issue and a copy of Crappie World at the show and nothing else. I also notified BAM and never got a reply back.
I will never do that again.

I've tried many but I quit subscribing to all the bass specific ones because they either had the same articles every year (winter jigging, etc.) or they had articles that directly contradicted something they had published in a previous article (if you took their advice over time, you would end up with a kitchen sink approach - anything will work). The articles are basically advertisements anyway.
Tried ones like Sport Fishing and Saltwater Sportsman, which are ok but too much about deepwater trolling with million dollar boats for dolphin and marlin, and articles about fishing places I don't care to go such as Long Island Sound or Cape Cod.
Now I get a couple of Florida-specific magazines because they cover inshore/nearshore fishing well, plus TF&G. Louisiana Sportsman is good if you go over there a lot.

I got my titles mixed up before. I get Texas Fish and Game.
And it is a good throne read. A lot of conservation slant, but also where, how, and when to catch all species in Texas waters, including saltwater. They have a mix of fishing and hunting from all over the state. They have Northern and Southern editions, depending on where you live. You can get both at their online site I think. If you come to the DFW area one of these days, I'll give you a box full of TF&G, with a few In-fisherman, maybe some BASS, Bassmaster, and North American Fisherman. That's very generous! As much as I'd like to take you up on your offer I'll bet you could find a young kid somewhere in your neck of the woods who'd appreciate them even more. Plus, you'd have the added benefit of adding to the next generation of outdoorsmen. Will

I given several boxes of mags. to several kids. I have 1 box left. I'm sure someone will come along before long though. lol

Texas Fish and Game is the only magazine we currently get. It is a nice mixture fishing and shooting sports mixed with some outdoor news and recipes.

I like BASS Times. I get Saltwater Sportsman also, and another post was right guys trolling on million dollar rigs and reviews on 2-700k boats, good bathroom reading. Bassmaster, FLW round out the mix. You can get them for like $1 issue most of the time not much for a little reading material. I am on computer all day, need the break.
