Has anyone used this stuff, from what I read its very similar to braid as far as strength and diameter go, but super smooth. suppose to be able to cast a lot further, tackle warehouse has some 150 yard spools for 14.99, any takes on it? was going to order a few spools and give it a try this week.

Is this the same stuff they are calling Gliss? I would be curious also.

Yes. Same stuff that I'm curious about. Read the reviews from tackle warehouse its like 50/50 people like it people don't, but wondering if the ones that didn't like it, weren't tying the correct knot? suppose to be real slick, and common knots don't work to great. Guess I will find out soon enough for myself.

I bought a spool. I'll report back when I try it out. My initial impression is that this stuff is VERY thin. It will make it possible or necessary, not sure which, to use smaller reels/spools on spinning reels. On baitcasting reels, will most definitely have to use backing or waste a ton of line.

I have been using it for a while and really like it I use the San Diago cinch knot or a triple polymer. Only problem I have had is throwing a tail spinner on the 24# it is so small and limber it tends to wrap up on this bait 40# works just fine though.

So whats the advantage of using the gliss over braid? The gliss has a little more memory making it cast better? Any thing else? Just curious if it will take the place of braid.
