Hope they are caught. It's scary if you think about. If you're like me, I stop in there all the time when I'm on the lake, I just bank my boat, leave all my gear on the deck or whatever, walk up there and eat and look around the store. It would be way too easy for dirtbags like this to go down to the boats and take some [censored] and be gone before you ever knew it.

Can somebody put this on FB and twitter? Might help put the loser's faces out there for more to see.

Don't know why some feel the need for an explanation from BarryH as to how the thieves pulled this off. That's between him and law enforcement.

Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

I do know that most are joking about harming the suspects, but even that is illegal. Some comments could be considered terroristic threats. Please know that I am in no way defending the suspects; I am a law abiding citizen and plan to pursue law enforcement. Just beware of what you say regarding bodily harm.

Seriously? LOL. You need a reality check. If someone breaks into your home, you are FREE to shoot on sight and will be acquitted of any wrong doing. Remember Barry is the victim here. He has a right to defend his property and person, not just his person. And for the record you can joke all you want about harming suspects. If someone like you takes it as a terrorist threat, then you sir are what is wrong with society today. Sad Day.

I love Oak Ridge and stop there just about every trip to Fork that I take. Can't beat the chicken fried steak and a tall coke for lunch!!!

This is Texas... You have the right to protect your person(s) and your property! I for one can't foreshadow what someone else's intentions may or may not be. Most thieves carry weapons of some fashion.

Rods and tackle are bad enough . . . how about a canoe?

Several decades ago, a canoe was stolen from a sporting goods store . . . at a shopping mall . . . in broad daylight!

The thieves simply walked in, grabbed it sort of casually and walked right out the door. They were so casual about it that the store employees thought it was just someone carrying out a purchase.

It made the news that evening.
