I dont know. I just raked 15 bags of leaves, and you can't really tell I did anything. I think I'm mulching the rest.

Looks like the grass is still healthy green . If its St Augustine i would rake clean them up. Than when the grass start to turn brown i would mulch them in. Just don't scalp the St Augustine this time of the year. Wait till it starts to green in the spring.

Just don't scalp the St Augustine this time of the year. Wait till it starts to green in the spring. My St. Augustine is still green so I mowed once in Nov. and again this past weekend. I took my leaf blower to the yard to get most of the leaves off prior to mowing. I have a mulching mower and will mow one more time once all the leaves have fallen. I try not to mow the yard when it's completely covered in leaves but have mowed when it has several leaves. Each year it comes back thick and lush. Like Bruce said, DO NOT scalp it, wait until spring. My mower setting is still on 2.5 inches.
