I am planning to make my way up to the lake over the Christmas holidays. I'm looking for a place that is boat friendly with plugs for trolling motor. Does anyone know of a good place? Is there a place without a two day minimum? We might want to stay one night instead of two...
Thanks & God Bless!

Shoestring farms or there is also Sunset resort off of 751. They have small cabins and such.

I will be staying at Shoestring Farms from now on. Their rates are better and I had a bunch of gear stolen out of my boat when I stayed at Sunset Resort. It was my fault for not having it properly locked and I'm not bashing Sunset, but I prefer an area with less traffic. Shoestring farms also feeds you a home cooked breakfast.

Shoestring, one of a kind place, at least it was 13 years ago.
Grew up on Tawakoni and Texoma before hybrids and stripers existed on either.

10+ Shoestring! Patty is fantastic, Good price, Rustic comfortable lodging. Down home breakfast around a country table filled with fisherman talking about the prior day and the plans for the new day. Can't go wrong!
