the only good ones were made in the 60s, 70s. the old GE and yellow westinghouse, a few other made in america companies. . You can still find them, they were a common wedding gift back in the day. Check some online auctions sites. I found a new in the box, never used one for 12.00

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Totally agree, so much easier and cheaper than the electric fillet knifes for a much higher price. I just buy my (or I use to) B & D electric knifes at Walmart for around $11 bucks, last me several years.

My folks have a Regal electric knife from like 1980. Has been through literally thousands of fish and STILL works better than any knife you will find on the shelf today. Obviously you can't go buy this, but just wanted to make a point that things aren't made the same as they used to be... Most electric knives are junk, go get a cheap one at Wal-Mart and replace it after a year.

Do not under any circumstance buy Hamilton Beach, it is the worst design I have ever experienced you cannot grip it without pushing the blade eject button and your hand slips constantly, it has a hard time cutting a turkey. Go B&D, AA for sure.

Love my Rapala bought it four years ago and been through at least 400 sandies and a bunch of crappie... still sharp and slippin through the fillets like butter.

I've used Mister Twister but I prefer the Salt Water one (blue and white). It seemed to have a lot more power than the green and yellow one. I have since bought a heavy duty Rapala (from Academy Sports). It has A LOT of power! A friend of mine who easily cleans over 1000 crappie a year had told me about the Rapala and he is sold on it.
