I have a fairly new generator and have been wanting to run lights at the coast to catch specks. I'll be heading down Friday night or Saturday morning and I'd like to get some good lights to bring in the fish. I figure some type of spotlight beam light would be better than a flood since the flood wouldn't penetrate the water as good. So what do y'all use and where did you get them? Thanks in advance. Your replies are much appreciated.

i use an old set of stage lights, but there's a place in Houston that has the newer aluminum can lights for a reasonable price. they're lighter and smaller than mine, easier to put on a stand and handle. someone on here ought to know the place. if not, google it. something like fishing spot lights or aluminum can lights.

Oh ok. Thanks. Not quite sure I want to spend 155 dollars on a set of lights I'll only use occasionally. I'm sure they're good and probably worth it, but can't see my self spending that plus shipping for something I won't use a whole lot. Maybe I can find some used ones because those do look good. i don't use mine anymore and one of them wasn't working last time(bulb i think) i'll sell both of them for $50. i'm in Bayou Vista.
