What's the best season for dock shooting jigs? And what pound test line. and last how heavy jig are you using? Thanks in advance for your replies fish

nothing heavier than 1/16, plastic body with straight tail glued on, 6# high viz mono. most of the year except winter can produce if you know which docks to fish.

What EP said. Eliminating unproductive docks is key. Look for docks that have big platforms, lots of shade, and have some relatively deep water under them. Also, the more/bigger support poles, the better. Shoot your jig and fish it through the darkest/shadiest water you can find, and watch your line!




I don't live for the thump, but I sure do like it.
