All boat ramps (except Isle du Bois) are closed on Ray Roberts Lake due to flooding as of 11-28-15. IDB remains open at this time.

First segment closes tomorrow and wont open again until December 12th. I was really looking forward to fishing while duck season was closed.

It says lake level is 4.67 above ( I know, Internet doesn't lie)...why does RR shut down with only this much of a rise? Expecting more? Just a simple explanation will do...I don't get it...is the elevation wrong?

Ramps (and roadways) are closed as the water level reaches the asphalt (above the concrete ramp). Vehicle traffic on submerged asphalt, destroys the asphalt. It is a matter of preserving infrastructure.

Why is the roadway (asphalt) built lower than ramp? Because it was designed by a government employee and it was getting close to 5 o'clock?

Launched at Isle Du Bois today. The lady in the pay booth said all ramps are closed except theirs.

I went by that list too. Got to Buck Creek, closed, back to Jordan, closed.

Why is the roadway (asphalt) built lower than ramp? Lol, why does water cover major highways before water ever touches the spillway? They screwed a lot of stuff up. Parkcop will post when the Ramps open back up, he always does. That COE list is wrong. Water is WAY over the ramp at buck and Jordan is closed as well.
