Bonham is the worst I've ever seen it water is almost to the pavement on the bridges and the South boat ramp parking lot is now part of the lake. All u see of docks is the tips of the roofs.

Water, it will rise and it will fall.

The only thing constant is between the out of state move ins and the illegals, we may not have enough water to supply our needs in the near future.

And now it seems the EPA has denied the final federal permits to begin construction of Lower Bois d’Arc Creek Reservoir. All state permits are approved and the NTWD even had received approval on some funding from state to begin construction.

With the lingering uncertainty over the federal permit, the water district recently withdrew its application for State Water Implementation Fund for Texas funding, the state had approved $82 million in loans for the project.

Apparently the federal agencies offered various alternatives to building a new reservoir, contracting for water from lakes in northeast Texas, and using more of the salty water available to the district from Lake Texoma.

The feds hate Texas ...

A tournament I was going to in Fairfield was cancelled this morning due to flooding. So we decided to go to pool. Not happening there. The entire parking lot at Lynn was underwater at 5am. There was a couple trucks left in the parking lot overnight. They are totaled. Up to the windows in water. The guy at the marina said try Lloyd. I didn't bother. I went to waxahachie where I knew I could get the boat in and nobody would be there to tell me "it's closed". Haha.

Turned out to be a good choice. Had my best day on waxahachie ever. Caught a bunch. Best 5 would have gone around 15 lbs. biggest was 5 lbs. caught them all flipping black jigs into fresh flooded cover. I even had a yard rocking swing pattern and sunk riding mower pattern. Lol

That is the courtesy dock and boat ramps. Can't see them. But, they are still there.

And yes... 4wd did come in handy since the boat ramps were submerged and the land end of the ramps were mud pits.

Hubbard Creek is on the rise. It was 17.95 low before this started, should catch a foot or two.

Cool. Does that mean when I screw up I can say I'm from Emory and my
Screen name is txmasterpro? Haha.

Just kidding.

It is a good color. It hides scratches and still looks new from a short distance.

They just showed some pictures on the news of the Oasis Marina. The entire parking lots flooded again. Not as high as last spring but it's going to be close.

The State Park Marina and boat ramp are still a pile of debris in the parking lot.
They appear to be rebuilding and have not removed the construction trash.
That part of the park will be closed probably till the spring.
Being under water so long ruined everything.
