Hey guys I am curiuos if any of you have had the new Quantum reel (I forgot the name of it) with the twitch bar long enough to critique it? It sure looks good, but will it hold up to a lot of use. What is the general opinion as to the durabilty of this reel. I would like to have some feedback before I plunk down $200.

the reel with the twitchin bar is actually the Daiwa Viento.
the quantum around the same price is a Tour edition PT but it does not have a twitchin bar.
hope that helps straighten that out.

Nitro,

I may be wrong but I think Quantum invented the twitch bar.

Man you can do the same thing with your rod tip. For $200, I'm buying a new Shimano Curado. More bang for the buck and it will out last the Quantum big time.

Just my .02 but I've owned both - it's no contest imho.
