Wind is your friend
If you on the calm side of the lake your giving up Absolutely!!! I have caught my PB and almost all of my bigger fish in horrid wind. I'm talking washing-my-boat-against-the-rocks kinda winds. Makes for a stressful couple minutes when you hang a big one and have to get the boat away from impending doom while trying to get out the net and keep the fish on. Lol. Can't wait till the next four days of extreme fishing. Lol. Gonna have Pantera on the radio and sunglasses on. Ripping fish!!! Happy thanksgiving. Lol.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Fish in it all you can; but the older you get the more we hunt semi calm water. I'm not as mad at them as I once was. Once upon a time I would thank nothing about fishing out in the waves with the bilge pumps running. I catch more fish on windless days than windy so I always look for areas out of the wind.
