Haha. I tell folks where, when, and how I catch em. I figure they think I'm like most fishermen. Feeding them a line of [censored]. Lol. If they trust me... They find the fish. If they don't...then so be it. Lol either way.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

....people are saying maybe the fish moved...ive seen people throw bread in the water , get all the bluegills to come to a area throw a net and fill a bucket up with bass , bluegill , and catfish if one gets caught...the area is about 40x40yds. Repeat this throughout the summer and what do you get? I used to catch hogs in plano , now I have to go to lewisville or texoma , no more driving 2 minutes down the street , now I have to have a offday and about -1hour each way if I want to fish ^ i know that they didnt "move" because they have no where to move, you can see to the bottom all the way around and its not a very big place. To the naked eye it looks like a drain ditch, and at this point thats what it is.

I am confused now. Was it a creek or not? Are you saying you checked the creek all the way to the mouth and source? Are you sure they can't migrate? A picture is worth a thousand words. Is there construction nearby where they might put pressure on the fish to vacate a long established area. Are there no cut banks, overhangs, rocks or ditches for them to hide in?

Maybe they were tired of you catching them and after the rains they swam away.
