Shakespeare must have a listen to us Catfishing folk… This year's model Rod ended up getting the one piece stainless eyes and reinforced rod seats.
It also got a stream lined gimble mount butt.

They have it listed on their web site. The old models are 20% off.
Did notice they changed the blanks they use.
BPS has them on their site as well but no discount on the old models.

I may have 20 or so available soon. 1-2 years old. May sell them in lots of 5 or 10...not sure on price...maybe $13 a rod.

Hey Salsa, what is the model of the rod you are talking about? Looking at replacing a few of mine. I see the 7' model is one piece but the 8' is still 2 piece. Or are you referring to the gx2 series?

Those eyes cracking out were the biggest problem I had with the UglyStik.
