I have a handful of wiener dogs (4!) but I don't know if they'd freak out when running between spots and hate to drag one of them out just to be miserable. May have to have the wife bring one and drive separate just in case.

I'm looking for a new puppy that would be my new fishing buddy. Do any of you have a dog that goes fishing in the boat with you ?? What breed would be the best for me?? Pit Bull. Then you can leave it in the boat while you go get the trailer, or park it. No one is going to steal it, that is for sure.

I use to take my Chocolate Lab, Abby with me all the time. She loved it as did I. Never made a mess other than shedding and that wasn't a problem. I do really miss her.

My rescued pitt / catahula mix in great from the first trip. Doing about 60 face is flapping smiling away gives me the nod when I catch something..
