I am on a budget and in need of few rods one spinning for shakey heads and one casting MH for spinnerbaits. Looking to get some reviews on these rods if they are worth the price. What keeps me coming back to these is the lifetime warranty on h20 products. Any reviews would be appreciated thanks guys and gals!

I absolutely love the H20 reels. I can't break them if I tried. The rods on the other hand. I haven't broke any but I just don't care for them. I know it a bit more, but I use the TFO rods by Gary Loomis. I think you should checkout Manventure Outpost. I just found this site last night. The prices are unbelievable.

I just bought an H2O Ethos Magnum Crank with micro guides 7'10" rod a few days ago at Academy, but haven't fished it yet. It did cast well with an old Quantum 1310mg. I was at Academy again today and they had St. Croix Triumph X rods on clearance. Originally $99.99, clearance sale at $29.98 for 6'6" MHF, and $34.98 for 7' MF. All at this location in South Austin were baitcast. I bought one of each. I've got 2 St. Croix spinning rods that I like, and after I put on an old quantum EX400 and a casting plug on the 6'6" St. Croix I cast it farther than any of my other rigs thus far. I was really tempted to head over to the other Austin locations to see if they had them on clearance to find a 7' MHF or spinning rods, but I'm already paying cash and hiding receipts so I figured I shouldn't push my luck. These seem like a steal.
I'd rather be fishing...

The lifetime warranty is real...if you have your receipt any store will replace them. Also, the H2O ethos rods are a very good tool for the price...been trying to replace one for two years now and can't find anything better for its purpose.

I think it is the best rod on the market for the money. I have quite a few Ducketts and 4 H2O's and to be honest cant really tell much difference and I have not had one problem with them.

Bought a H2O Ethos 6'9" MH for spinner baits and loved the feel and weight of the rod, but after using several months, rod broke setting hook on nice fish. Broke about 8" from tip, and haven't bought another. May try another again, as loved the rod before it failed.

I got my son one of the 6'6" Ethos Inshore M, and a ML. They are good IMO. He uses them on Stripers and Hybrids and has landed some good ones with them. I like the take it back for a replacement when they break deal. We are trying out a H20 Mettle on one, and have the trusted Lews BB2 on the other.

Great little rods. Used to use them quite a bit. Hard to beat for the price.

These are good rods. I don't know if it's been since they transitioned to Fuji guides but they seem to be getting better with senItivity as time progresses.
