Going to stay at my cousins this next weekend in Log Cabin and was hoping somebody may steer me in the direction of some sandies and or crappies. Taking a couple buddies in hopes of drowning our sorrows in a boat load of fish on a not so successful football season! Will be in the Toms Acres part of the world just east of 198 bridge. My buddies and I thank you for any help.

You might find some crappie around the bridge pilings. I'm not seeing much surface action with the sandies. I see several boats early and late on the Key Ranch flats. Search Dennis Christian posts for info, maps, and techniques. Watch his video, read his story.
