Going to stay at my cousins this next weekend in Log Cabin and was hoping somebody may steer me in the direction of some crappies and even sandies. Taking a couple buddies in hopes of drowning our sorrows in a boat load of fish on a not so successful football season! Will be in the Toms Acres part of the world just east of 198 bridge. My buddies and I thank you for any help.

If it were me, I would be at the Clear Creek bridge, at either end, around daybreak. I would do a lot of pitching alongside the columns, and also trying a turn or two off the bottom. The Clear Creek bridge is the middle bridge on 198. After the bite slows down, I would either fish the cross supports on the deeper columns, or go dock shooting.
White and Chartreuse, or plain chartreuse if it's sunny, and a dark colored bait if it's cloudy.
