I found a kayak paddle on the Brazos below PK dam last Friday. It looks like it has been out there a while. If you're missing one and you can describe this one (it has some pretty unique characteristics) I'll help it find it's way back home.
BTW, little stripers are still hungry on that stretch of river. I caught a few LMB on my spinning rod but I wore out small stripers on my fly rod. I did manage two keepers. I figured that I might as well keep them since all of the big ones still seem to be dying out there. I saw several dead large one.

Did you wear waders or is the water still warm enough to wade?

I wore waders. By the end of the day I probably didn't need them but I'm a whimp when it comes to being cold. I was comfortable in waders all day but I did shed my my sweater about mid day.

I waded below the dam at PK on Friday morning. I didn't wear wader and just wore short. The water was not cold and pleasant. In a few weeks I will be in waders.
