Saw this article today and thought I would share. All in all, I like it as a Grapevine resident, but I imagine those boaters that like the lake might have to fight through more traffic. I love the idea of cabins at one of the parks.

I dislike the way the City of Grapevine took over a federal project and then began charging non-residents a premium to access the lake. Seems like discrimination to me. The lake was a federal project and was maintained by the feds for years. I don't have a problem with the city of Grapevine taking over management and raising fees if needed, but the fees should be the same for all users, not discounted for Grapevine residents.
