Bought a new jig mold from Do-It. Called a Bat Jig. Uses a Whacky style hook. 1/32 oz through 1/4 oz. Uses a #6 whacky hook. I bought some #2 hooks for the larger jigs, but I am going to have to do some modification to the mold in order for them to fit. Advertised as a better alternative to fishing brush with less hang ups. Hope to do some testing of that theory soon. Can pour with the keeper or without.

I haven't given that any thought silentkilla. I do this primarily as a fun hobby and not to make $$. Put......I guess my arm could get twisted if someone wanted some bad enough.

I'd never ask you to sell me any, but I might ask you to give me a few in exchange for modifying that mold for you.

That's a deal. All you have to do is come over and we will pour all you want. I ordered more hooks and keepers today. I'd never ask you to sell me any, but I might ask you to give me a few in exchange for modifying that mold for you.

Here is a 1/8 oz powder coated and ready for battle with a Thermocline Mr. Fry in Pearl Ice. The keepers work great for holding the plastic in place.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

I would be very curious too to see how it hangs in the water. That would be my fear.

I will not be using a loop knot with these jigs.....that's for sure. I would be very curious too to see how it hangs in the water. That would be my fear.

That is kind of what I was thinking. Then I thought, man, I would be having to adjust that thing all day long to make sure it stayed true. I may have to research some new knots that would hold it where I wanted it.

Thanks HMK. I've got some poured without the keepers. I'm going to see what kind of hand ties I can come up with next.
