Those of you that fish the Trinity, where do you put in? Where do you park trucks to get back to original launch spot, etc?

Google maps is how I found all my launch spots. If you can find a spot to park and have a will/way to get your yak down to the water you can fish just about anywhere.
The most obvious one that everyone knows about is panther island. Some of my spots have gotten a bit more difficult to launch/take out from due to all the rains and floodings we have had this year. Its like a whole different animal in some spots.

I have used both the parking lot for panther island and off Taylor street to launch from. Taylor street has a park that has a good beach to launch from

Panther island is a good spot to launch from and it gives you good access to fishy waters. Like Nathan said you can use Google maps to find more spots, some of them take some courage to try though lol.

How far up the Trinity do you want to go? I grew up on the southwest side so I like the river as it comes out of Benbrook. You can hit where 183 and 20 split to get to part of it or go below the Benbrook dam to the soap box park and put in there, but be prepared so there's a car at 183 to pick you up. There is 1 dam in between the park and 183 where you'll need to portage but there's some really good water that doesn't get fished much hiding in that stretch. If you go downstream of 183 you can get out at the Hulen bridge, but you'll have to walk up the side several hundred yards. You can also get in at University and go up or downstream and parking shouldn't be an issue, but the bank's a bit steep.

I'm on other forums that deal with the old turbo powered Buicks.;)
