Dennis, I'm so sorry for your loss, and my prayers go to you for peace and tranquility. I too lost my wife of 50 years to COPD. She was on oxygen full time for about 10 years. Like your wife, she insisted I fish three or four times a week---and I did! She also was my bass fishing partner for several years.
I hope you will keep fishing a bunch. I did. Fishing by myself a lot, I can and do enjoy the memories.
May you continue to enjoy your life.

I'm so saddened to hear this Dennis! Praying that in time, God will heal the hurt for you and your family. Thought of you and her today when I was casting a Mepps and before I heard the news. Was wondering how she was doing. Yes, you will be with her again in Glory! Lets get out fishing again when you feel the time is right. God's blessings!

Thanks to you all for your support of affection and prayer. If I may share, I wrote this in her memory this morning:
WHAT IS ONE LIFE WORTH
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
At birth she brought joy to her young parents � their first born,
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
As a toddler and through her childhood years she brought energy , spunk, and laughter,
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
As a warrior against crippling polio she demonstrated to all her grace, poise and courage to live life fully,
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
As she grew to a young woman her engaging and beautiful smile warmed a young man�s heart,
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
Even though handicapped she through great courage brought two new lives into this world, and with grit and loving determination reared them to be beautiful human beings,
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
With wit, charm and love she exemplified the love of our Lord Jesus to her family and friends,
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
With unwavering support and encouragement she was always there for her grandsons,
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
With undying devotion and love she was the soul mate and life partner to her husband until death overtook her,
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
Most of all it was worth it to God to create each life, her life, our lives even though He foresaw the need to rescue us from our sins, and that rescue effort would cause Him much pain and suffering at Calvary�s cross � yet He went ahead and created us anyway.
What is one life worth, each life, this life?
To God each of us is worth all the pain and suffering He had to go through to save us.
That is what one life, each life, this life is worth!!!
