What is the typical fall pattern for these fish this time of year?

They tend to bunch up to feed. Cover water flats with deep water near by.
Cranks, spinner baits, fast moving top water.when you do connect, stop
and work that area.

November is swimbait time! Small swimbaits and try underspin jig heads. Look for birds working throw into the birds, let it sink to where u are marking fish, reel.

Fish will be shallow early mornings or even better on cloudy days.

In fall and early winter here at Cedar Creek Lake I find fish on the bottom on both shallow (12 to 18 fow) and deep (20 to 27 fow) structures. You can catch them with slabs and soft plastics on lead-headed jigs, but I prefer inline (Mepps) spinners worked off the bottom. I also prefer fishing in the middle 3rd of the day because it is warmer and brighter.

Chartreuse is working for me right now. Nice shiny spinner blade to cut through the haze. White isn't getting me a thing. I will try purple later. Small sizes are getting more attention then "average" sizes considered for the fish.
