Went out to Hubbard Creek this morning after dropping my son off for school... It looks good with the new water. Quite a bit dirty, but still good. I went out and drove all over the lake for about an hour and 10 minutes breaking my Yamaha in on the new Ranger, and then I stopped to fish a few "new" spots for 30-40 minutes or so.

I figured that the fish would be a little skiddish or hard to find, but it looks to be the opposite right now. I popped a 3 lber right off and moved to a different area (I'm pre-fishing). Saw several fish swimming around, and they weren't very spooky at all.

It's awfully stained on the south side of the bridge, and the stain line goes a good ways north of the bridge...further than usual anyway. The water is a little dingy in the Dam area, but not too bad. Hubbard Creek is also pretty chocolatey.

Caught a few more fish (better than I usually do out there), and came on home. The lake is looking much better.
