16.5lb bass is hard to believe....would love to see it. He said new texas LMB record, so I assume he meant state record? But yeah, it would have been posted somewhere by now. Who ever certified the weight would have posted.

But I know that the Lake Record was caught this year and was 15 and change...I would love to see something bigger than that!!! State record is 18 something if I remember correctly. 19+ lb bass would be impressive to see.

They've been found dead floating, couple have been found dead on fork over 18lbs, think one was 20lbs
