I never fished Mill Creek when it had a bunch of grass. I think trying to bring that grass back is one thing that could bring the fishery back fast. I have never thought that lake had enough cover in it. There are a bunch of lay downs and a few brush piles but other than that the lake is pretty bare. There isn't enough places for fingerling bass to hide especially if the waters down. I think someone needs to get some type of vegetation growing thick whether that be pads, coontail, or whatever.

And above all that if something isn't done about what Doug is talking about nothing done to improve the fishery will do any good.

I also live about a mile away and the fishing has been good out there for me, the past few months, got slow when the lake was turning over but now it has picked up quite a bit, the little lake gets alot of pressure, you can never go wrong with a drop shot or shakey on it, pm me and I'd be glad to meet you over there and show you some stuff, only gonna get better as the water cools
