My neighbor and i are interested in fishing the upper end of Conroe and wondered if anyone had ideas about a ramp in that area.

Sleepy, if you are talking about the north end of the lake, the best ramp is at stow-away marina on calvary road. You take exit 95 off highway 45 coming from Houston. Turn left and cross over the freeway, then turn right on the two way feeder. This will take you to calvary road. Turn left on calvary road and stow away is on your right around five miles down.

Hey Jeremy,
Obiewan had been catching some nice blues up on that end. We need to hook up and fish the river sometime.
I'd rather be fishing!

I got to thinking about it and I think Obiewan may have been at Limestone and not conroe on the north end catching the big ones.

AG, that is correct. I forgot that since the lake filled back up that ramp is available.

I looked that road up on google map. Is the ramp visible from the 1375 bridge? We might end up going to Fairfield since it is back up instead of conroe. Hey Andrew. Lets hook up and catch some soon. Newmanns bottom in about a month??
