Red tide is only at the beach and jetty. The piers you mentioned are free of red tide.

Caught about 20 reds today and only saw 4 dead fish the whole day. Fishing is great.

Saw water clarity report for SPI as clear blue green which is a reversal of clear red a couple of days ago when the red tide was reported to be in high concentrations. Hoping this high winds and waves over the weekend will clear it away. Anyways, I want to know did anybody fish the jetties today? Previous red tides produced large pompanos when it cleared out and i don't wanna miss out.

Not sure about a sand flea rake. If anywhere I would guess AMC tackle shop in port isabel.

Did not catch anything in the Kayak today but I did speak with one guy that says he has been killing the trout all week.

Ran around today scouting some old water I fished 6 years ago. Caught a hand full of trout and a nice redfish in dirty water.
