Ty fish. Looks like my buddy is getting a slightly better price for them. I was hoping to be able to make some, possibly get a mold, I was wanting to get back into tying. Looks like I'm gonna leave his jig supply upto him.

Just as a FYI, stickmarsh = Jim Porter, one in the same. After Mr. Young died Jim tried to get me to tie the jigs for him, but he just wanted way more than I was willing to tie! So I turned him down, 2 times, LOL!

So the question is still not answered how do you get the head of the lead clipped like that. I have some of them and this is not a mold, it is a tool of some sort WHAT IS THE TOOL USED?

You can have a mold made for anything for a price, but there also is spin-casting that you can have anything made. The setup on both is the high dollar part.

Believe me skip I agree totally. I just know my buddy wants what he wants, you know he is set in his ways. Skip, I diagree sort of, head shape and hook placement can have a tremendous effect on Jig Action. Now having said that, I agree that a simple ball works everytime when fished properly providing you have the right color combo. However, when selling something you gotta listen to the customer, IT IS a matter of personal preference. As far as the jig head being sought, I can see it getting stuck in every crook and cranny in the rock piles and rock walls I fish. OTOH I do not see it being better than a minnow head but that is just my opinion. Bad thing is, I would like a couple dozen just for trial and error.
