Does anybody have suggestions on launching a boat to fish, and how much are the fees? Thanks!

Which end of the lake is closest to you? I think the Corp ramps are $3.00. Hurricane used to be free not sure if it still is?

Over look ramp on the south end. Cedar Springs on the North end. All Corp ramps are 5.00 now. You can purchase an annual pass for 30.00 (I think) it covers ANY corp owned ramp in the state.

All of the ramps are good ramps, just depends on what part of the lake you are going to be fishing.

If you launch at Cedar Springs DON'T go into the latrine. It is a health hazard, at least it was last weekend.
The ramp fees are $5 except at Cedar which is $3.

Thanks! Thinking of fishing the north end(river). Never been to the lake, so I wasn't sure which ramps, if any, to avoid.

Go to Cedar Springs.
Stay away from Brushy if you plan to beach your boat at the ramp. There's some huge rocks right under the water on the bank you can't see.
I noticed the scratches on the hull of my boat after a couple of trips.
I favor either Cedar Springs or Overlook. Those are my preferred ramps!
If you go to corps lakes much, get the yearly pass. They are good at ANY Corp park, not just boat ramps, and not just in the state.

I've launched at Johnson creek and paid the guy working in the stand. Is there the same thing at cedar springs?

There isn't a booth at Cedar Springs. Just a drop box.
