Have they still got the gate closed going into the park? It's one of the few places on Lavon I can get to and fish fairly easily in my present hobbled up state.

the gate is close every october 1 to next years march 30.but i saw lot people just cross the gate get in.

No Jimmy, I've driven down to the end and fished it year round for many years now. Seems like they did close it for a while several years or so ago. But it has remained open most of the time. I even remember fishing (sorta) during some bitter cold icy weather. I only wish I could walk in, which is what I did the one year they had it closed. The statement from the corp. about all parks and campsites being closed (with a few exceptions) during the said period is a new one I believe. I read that Little Ridge had damage from high water. The only damage I can guess might preclude usage would be to the roadway, which might be the case in a few spots I know of. I can't imagine any damage to the picnic tables or the restrooms. Thanks for the info guys, Saved me a trip down there. Anybody else want to chime in on this?

Yeah, but the corp. shows only the ramp to be open. We like to night fish. and have a few spots to go to, but getting close to deep water is a problem.

this morning went to little ridge for bank fishing 8:30 am to 12:30.caught 24 sandy 12-14 inch.a lot small sandy and lmb. wind east south 7-10 mph .the weather was still good for all week.catch chance everybody!!!!!!

today at little ridge 9:30-12:30 caught 15 12-14 inch sandy.still a lot small one.wind south 10 mph.
