I was one of the ones that didn't get word of the lock change. At take off when we left chad announced that the lock master would try to accomadate the delay for the fog and never once said that everything was delayed an hour. When we locked down we were one of only 4 boats and not once did said lock master say a word to us or anybody there. The team that should have won showed up with us to the lock to get back and was very upset cause they went to pool 3 and that lock master there stuck to the original schedule which ended up costing them. They new the schedule changed but they were in the first lock and evidently everyone in that one knew about it. And to whoever said to call the lock master.... How the heck would someone know to do that if you get a schedule in writing? I'm in no way shape or form bashing bass champs but they have that group texts that alerts everyone of results after each tournament, would have been nice if they had used that to inform people of the changes in the lock schedule.

Everyone was told Friday night that if you locked down you were taking a risk that things could change and they did.

Imagine how hard it was for those who caught enough to win or place highly, and believed they understood the locking schedule as presented to them. Then having to sit at the lock and struggle with the fact that somehow they were wrong about the schedule. It does seem unfair that certain competitors were given the correct information on the changes and others were not. Sure those few competitors locked at their own risk but as it turned out that risk was greater for some than it was for others, simply because of the timing of the decision.
