Looking to do some fishing in and around Chocolate Bayou in Brazoria County soon. Anyone here familiar with the area who can lend advice on where to best access the more inland areas of the bay as well as the mouth? Possibly kayaking trip but for now just best places to access from.
Thanks.

real decent double ramp under the hwy 2004 bridge. you can go inland for a more river/bayou experience or down stream to the marsh and bay.

I think that is about the only place with public access. There might be a kayak access through the Brazoria Wildlife Refuge to the marsh but you need to check with them on times that the gate closes.
