Looks like a ghost town to me SGT Ballard. Nothin interesting and definately nothin worth catchin. Way to watch the finder. I caught about 40 Catfish from this one spot, mostly blues. They were all nice sizes eaters, of course nothing like the monsters you catch... I admit that I do need to learn how to read a fish finder, that's one reason I haven't upgraded to a larger unit. I appreciate everyone's input.. Lol! Nice. Must have been some good scatterin goin on.

[quote=J Lowe]More than I ever mark on my 2d! So J Lowe, what your saying is you never see nothing like this? Hey Rick did you catch any of those fish, my first thought was that those fish weren't feeding because the shad are all bunched up and doesn't look to be too afraid of the fish, I will usually try to find shad that are scattered in small bunches with the fish close by which tells me that they are breaking up the pods while feeding. Of course the best way to tell is to throw out some lines and fish for em. Definitely a nice shot and I thought I'd get your advice on my theory.

I was solo and this image was taken on what some might consider the worst bluecat fishery in the state of Texas and I put in 3 teenagers and a 24 in about 45 minutes. About an hour later, I moved down about a 150 yards and repeated the almost exact same scenario before I had to pack it up and head home. Could have most likely done it all day. It was fun. And Mike I like your theory buddy. Somedays it's all one can find.
