Hey guys, I'm hardly ever on here anymore. I was thinking about an overnight trip this weekend. I've never been to Big Sam or Toledo and was wondering two things really.
1. Are the lakes turning over, already have, or haven't started?
2. Are there any big tournaments at either that may sway me to go to the other?

Any suggestions on places to stay would be great too. I think I have a couple suggestions from about six months ago when I was trying to do this then and it never worked out. Thanks in advance.

Rayburn is 114,000 acres and Toledo Bend is 181,000 acres.

I'm sure there is plenty of water on either for one more boat ...

Thanks, guys. Yeah, mostly just making sure there wasn't something like McDonald's. No info on turnover? I'd fish through it if I had to, but not for a first overnight trip if I could help it.
