Where did you have it weighed at, Benbrook Marina. My son caught one 2.8 on Wednesday and had it weighed on certified scale at Lynn Creek Marina it was fat at only 15 3/4 inches. Did you take any pictures? How deep was it caught?

Caught in 11 fow but came up 2 ounces shy of the recently updated record at 2.8
