Ok ladies and gents as some of you know I do this every year and this year will be no different even though I haven't been spending much time in Zapata. This is something near and dear to my heart.
This year will be special I have already picked up 5 volunteers that are going to take a disabled veteran fishing on the weekend of the 5th of December.
If you are or know of someone that qualifies for this trip and can make it please reach out to me via this thread or a private message. In the past this has been one of the most rewarding projects I have participated in. I know Veterans day is more than a month away, but I wanted to get this thread up early so planning could take place. I expect that I will pick up a few more boats to take Vets out so stay tuned.

Ok Gents got my 1st donation for the Vets. Wes the owner of Impact Oilfield services will provide briskets, He has also volunteered to take a vet out.

Picked up another volunteer as a boater. Now all we need is some Veterans:) We have 6 spots open as of now and I expect that to grow.

Just picked up anther boat, We are going to open it up to all Veterans, but disabled Vets will have priority

Billy, I spoke with Jim at Wounded Warrior Project. Please send him an email as he can assist and getting some warriors out there, I am sure they would love the opportunity. Please email Jim at jroos@woundedwarriorproject.org with details if there are still spots remaining.

We now have 9 boaters and I anticipate even more coming on board. I have had volunteers all the way from Oklahoma
